Hi, I'm Jolanta Legzdiņa: mum of two wonderful girls, and someone a bit hopelessly in love with life, art and perfume.

Behind "our story" there's really just me, myself and I. I built this website, I take the photos, I describe the scents as best I can, I answer your messages, listen, advise, sometimes let my intuition pick a perfume for you, and I pack every order myself, with love. I also host one-on-one fragrance rendezvous, Fragrance Journey talks for groups, and themed scent evenings.

It all started eight years ago with Serge Lutens Jeux de Peau. Before that I'd worn the same two designer fragrances for years and didn't think much about perfume, since most of it smelled too synthetic to me. Art was my thing; I studied culture and art history. Then Jeux de Peau pulled back the curtain: perfume turned out to be art too, just for the nose.

Smell is the sense that ambushes you with memories out of nowhere and changes your mood before you know why. That got me hooked. I read everything I could find, ordered samples from all over the world, made tables, compared and learned the notes, until I had hundreds of samples and a few true loves. Hiram Green's Hyde, which purrs of early childhood. Papillon's Bengale Rouge, which wakes up the woman in me. Les Indémodables' Vanilla Havane: deep, thick, ageless. I was sure these perfumers had more to say, and I was right.

That's what this shop is: niche brands I believe in. Creative, high quality, made to last, with real natural ingredients.

A good perfume tells a story and changes how you feel. People remember it longer than your clothes. And finding your scent, the one that feels made just for you, is slow and personal. You won't grab it at the mall. That's why there are Discovery sets and Perfume Journeys, smelling classes where we explore together.
